Racing Bio

Maryeve grew up in Canada, her dad was a really talented motorcycle racer. Since she was young, she always wanted to race.

Maryeve started riding motocross at the age of 4 years old and, later she was riding a snowmobile. She had her first sports bike at the age of 16 years old, always riding with the boys she was doing wheelies and burn outs - always had something for speed and adrenaline and not scared of anything.

She started go-kart for fun and fell in love with the sports being use to being on a motorcycle she said "I feel very secure, I can go really fast, the risks are less compared with what I did on a motorcycle" and then she enrolled for open wheel classes and started racing.

Maryeve started racing with Espn Russell series and, now the pro star Mazda and did her first race in Montreal grand prix where the series was supporting the formula one race.

One day, by coincidence, I saw an ad for the Hawaiian Tropics contest in the newspaper. I entered just for the fun of it, but ended up winning it, with over 100 girls participating. From there, I went to the national contest in Las Vegas, and to the international division, beating over 35,000 girls from around the world. I won $100,000 in prizes and a modeling contract. I did a promotional tour around the world and was invited to the USO tour, Operation Starlift in Kosovo, Bosnia and Macedonia.

Because of my growing career and increasing offers for modeling, movies, video, print and magazine work, I decided to move to Los Angeles. I worked with Sylvester Stallone, Eddie Murphy, Burt Reynolds, Estella Warren and Ali Landry. You may have seen me on the Price is Right as a "Barker Beauty," E! Television, fashion shows for Elizabeth Rogiani and Frederick's of Hollywood and many others. I am currently working with Zina Provendie, the successful head acting coach of MGM.

Canadian driver, model set for Nationwide debut.

Quebec native Maryeve Dufault plans on becoming the first Canadian woman to make a Nationwide Series race when she straps on her helmet at her hometown track in this weekend's NAPA Auto Parts 200 at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

Dufault has been entered in the No. 81 Dodge owned by Pat MacDonald, with sponsorship from the Quebec Dodge Dealers. The car, normally driven by Blake Koch, is inside the top 30 in owner's points, guaranteeing Dufault a starting spot in Saturday's race.

Dufault has one top-10 finish in 12 ARCA Series events so far in 2011. The native of Sorel started motorcross racing as a teenager, then advanced to go-karts and open-wheel cars before making the transition to stock cars in 2010, running two races in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series, including a 26th-place finish at Montreal.

Now living in California, the 29-year-old Dufault does modeling and stunt work when she's not behind the wheel of a race car. Her on-screen credits include a stint as co-host for a 2006 TV series called Racin' For A Livin', which lasted one episode. She was also credited with appearing on one episode of The Price Is Right in 2001.
